A stacked field of 20 Late Model drivers from all over the country took the green flag for week 2 at USA Dirt for Dirt Championship eSports.
Qualifying & Heats
Week 1 winner Cody Seeber looked to be the man to beat, going out and setting fast time with a 21.673s lap. League newcomer this week Tanner Tomasi was hot on his heels, however, with a time of 21.750s lap.
Heat 1, taking place on a fairly fresh track, saw single file racing with only three drivers, Michael Like, Adam Mattox and Richard Metzdorf making a pass for position. Cody Seeber would lead all 8 laps on the way to starting the feature P1.

Heat 2 was more of the same as Tanner Tomasi led start to finish, with Matt Queen and Tim Prelog the only drivers in the field to pick up positions.

Feature Event

While the heats were strung out single file, when it came time to throw down in the main event it was elbows up from first to last for all 40 laps. Seeber would lead early until Tanner Tomasi took over the top spot and looked to be the class of the field.

Bad luck would strike the leader after two cars about to go a lap down and battling for position would tangle on the front stretch. With nowhere to go, Tomasi would suffer irreparable damage ending his hopes for the win. At this point, Jon Coombs would take over and never look back.

The race would be slowed 5 times for incident. Mitch Stiles and Joseph Lavallee would round out the podium.

The Hard Charger Award for the race would go to Adam Mattox, moving from 15th starting spot to finish 6th.
